  • Infill smoothing plane stamped TJ Gardner, Maker, Bristol, but believed made and supplied by Slater of London and then stamped for retail sale
  • This distinctive plane is fitted with Rosewood rear and front infills
  • Rosewood wedge and a gunmetal bridge with retailers stamp
  • Uses a 2" wide ward and Payne double iron
  • Usual expected patina/ tarnishing and very slight pitting due to its age and storage which could probably be polished out if desired
  • 7¼" long with 2" wide cutting iron
  • Weighs 3 llb 9 oz (1.62kgs)
  • Will need sharpening and honing before use
