  • Possibly made by Mathieson of Glasgow ?
  • Fourteeen and half inches long x three inches wide
  • Original good length 'Ward of Sheffield' cutting iron and cap iron
  • Brass screw lever cap with very faint 'star' part of logo showing
  • Old brass repair plate to the closed handle
  • Lovely usable plane or would buff up well for display use!
  • Slight staining to sole
  • Weighs in at 8 lbs 6 ozs ( 3.80 kgs)
  • Straight from previous owners workshop and although sharp, would benefit from sharpening/honing to suit own requirements
