Wood carving gouges by C Hill of Sheffield

All stamped with makers name and the  'Cannon' logo

They are ground 'out canal'

Typical Sheffield straw colour tempering to the tangs

They appear to be  no 6 sweeps as per 'Sheffield' list

 Imperial widths 3/8", 5/8", 3/4", 7/8" and 1" wide cutting edge

Nearest Metric equivalent widths 9 mm, 17 mm, 19mm, 22 mm, and 25 mm.

Boxwood handles secured by Brass ferrules

Previous owners name stamped on handles - T Swingler

Slight staining to the blades

Great set for Luthier work.

Will need sharpening/honing to suit your own requirements
