Very heavy, cast iron, Cooper's jointer plane.

Made by Briggs in Burton-on-Trent, a town made famous by it's breweries.

It is 5' 8" long and has a cutting width of 3".

The iron is by Fearns of Sheffield.

Comes complete with cast iron tripod, for elevating one end of the plane when in use for trimming sides of the individual staves that are used for the barrel body.

This is for sale by COLLECTION ONLY, due to it's weight of approx 60 kilos!

Will require sharpening/honing before use.
